The implementation of “posyandu keluarga” in 2 villages namely Kayangan village and Salut village is still running well. This can be seen from the holding of capacity building activities on Thursday (17/03/22) to Friday (18/03/22) in the Kayangan district hall and attended by 42 Cadre/RKD. The activity was carried out in 3 sessions and themes, namely disaster risk reduction, non-communicable diseases, and simulation of the Posyandu flow.
In addition, material on the use of tools and the filling of medical records that have been agreed upon by YSI and the 2 Puskesmas assisted by YSI was also added so that the health status of the community can be properly monitored and documented. The two villages are also disaster-prone areas, so people who live in these areas need to get education about how to reduce risks in the future. For this reason, the synergy in this risk reduction effort also involves health cadres who act as drivers in the community.
The cadres will not only talk about health but will also support public awareness regarding disaster understanding, risk reduction efforts and how to integrate it with health. This education is collaborated with family posyandu activities which also function as educational media for the community. DRR material was delivered by PEM staff Abdul Majid and contained the cycle of disasters, types of disasters, and formulas for reducing disaster risk.
Meanwhile, for Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM) it was delivered by Made Yudha as a non-communicable disease staff at the Kayangan Health Center. The last material, about Simulation of the Posyandu flow and the use of medical devices and filling out medical records was delivered by Hadrun Maulana as PTM staff and Akhmad Khuzaeni as Essential PJ. Simulations and training were carried out by dividing the cadres into groups to fill in 5 pre-agreed tables. Then several cadres were targeted for examination, the rest filled out medical record forms. This simulation activity is also accompanied by socialization of the use of medical devices that have been provided by YSI.
