The Siberut Region, Mentawai Islands held a Rural Participatory Study (PRA). Facilitated by SHEEP Indonesia, they identified food potential and compiled a map of the local food potential around them and put it on the map provided according to the position and location of each participant's house.

The activity which was carried out on Tuesday, 01 March 2022 in Pasakiat Taileleu Village, Southwest Siberut, Mentawai Islands involved 16 people consisting of the village government, village consultative bodies, community leaders, religious leaders, posyandu cadres, PKK, youth organizations, traditional institutions Village, and management of village-owned enterprises. PRA Pasakiat Taileleu Village uses the Food history flow technique where this method uses a technique of tracing the history of the existence and management of natural resources, such as paddy fields, yards, fields, grazing fields, irrigation water sources, which exist and have been used by the village.

The historical plot technique is used to increase and strengthen public awareness of the existence of local food in the area so that the community's love for local food arises again.
