Bangga Village, reached the stage of casting the floor of the PEM building on Tuesday (15/03/22). Precisely in Hamlet 3 Bangga Village, District. South Dolo kab. Province Sigi. Central Sulawesi. The SHEEP Indonesia Foundation (through implementing and supervisory staff) and the community carried out the casting process (community evacuation center) for the design of the Lobo Traditional House, a local potential in the area.
The floor casting of the building was carried out by 15 permanent PEM workers and an additional 25 people were taken from each hamlet in Bangga Village. Citizen participation in the casting process is also expected to be part of increasing the sense of ownership of the entire Bangga Village community over the PEM building so that in the future every citizen has an interest in maintaining and reviving the building, in the form of traditional and community activities and capacity building through the disaster mitigation education process. Apart from being a handyman, community members also voluntarily bring their carpentry equipment and prepare logistical needs to expedite the development process.
The development process is documented in the form of photos and videos as a media campaign, information and documentation of the history of PEM in Bangga village so that the community knows the progress and achievements in stages.
