The presentation and discussion was carried out as a part of the advocacy strategy with the initial result of identifying the implementation of the local food self-relliance system policy. In the discussion, participants were given the opportunity to provide responses and feedback on inappropriate study findings. After that, it was continued by discussing the problems and commitment to be involved in the realization in stage 3 of the system, namely production, trade, consumption so that the independence of the food system was realized while still emphasizing on gender issues.
This presentation and discussion becomes a medium for confirming findings to complement the results of the study and revision material so that it can involve various opinions that enrich the results of the study. The activity also obtained a joint commitment that encourages Kupang Regency to have a policy to encourage the independence of a sustainable local food system that favors the community by optimizing the potential of local food and not depending on other regions for regional food fulfillment.
