The Pansor UMK Forum and the BUM-Desa Santong which have been formed in the village supported by the SHEEP Indonesia Foundation hold training activities on financial management, digital marketing and institutional strengthening. This activity is a follow-up to the results of the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) conducted by YSI in collaboration with THINQ Counsultan Tourism, particularly regarding the constraints and needs of MSEs in doing business.
The training activity was carried out at the Tiu Teja shop, Waker Hamlet, Santong Village, Kayangan District on Tuesday-Wednesday 25-26 January 2022 followed by UMK actors in Pansor and Santong villages. In this activity, YSI became a resource person and companion for the UMK and BUMDes Forums that encouraged the strengthening of their capacity and readiness in building post-disaster businesses so that they could recover and increase family income.
In the training, the roles and functions of business group members are described and an understanding so that the management of UMK and BUMDes involves all the potential of the members and their administrators. In addition, after the training, an agreement was built between YSI and the participants so that there is an application of the material obtained and MSE actors are really able to manage: solve problems, share roles, do good recording and administration and encourage maximum production with good marketing techniques and impact on group business development.
