YPAL Poso, in an effort to increase the capacity of its staff regarding Organisational PIMEL and Financial Governance, has carried out an internship process at Yayasan SHEEP Indonesia (YSI) for 3 days on 15-17 May 2023. This internship is an important step in strengthening the cooperation between YPAL Poso and YSI and improving the accountability of both institutions.
The internship is part of YPAL Poso's capacity building programme to strengthen the organisation's PIMEL (Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) system and financial governance at YSI. In this internship activity, YSI acts as a facilitator who provides knowledge and experience to YPAL Poso MEAL Department staff (Syarif), YPAL Poso Finance Department staff (Rina and Ririn), Martin and Deta (KPOMS Staff), Evi Yuanita and Widuri Winda (Bureau of Finance).
The internship process took place on 15-17 May 2023, which was carried out at the YSI workplace. During this period, interns were involved in various activities aimed at improving their understanding of PIMEL and effective financial governance. Through training sessions, discussions and hands-on practice, participants were able to gain the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen the PIMEL and financial governance systems at YPAL Poso.
This internship is not just an individual learning process, but also a collaborative effort between YSI and YPAL Poso to improve the accountability and quality of their work. By sharing knowledge and experience, they can support each other and optimise the PIMEL system and financial governance in both institutions. This aims to achieve a better level of accountability, ensure transparency in financial management, and improve effectiveness in planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
With this internship, it is hoped that YPAL Poso and YSI can continue to strengthen their cooperation to increase staff capacity, maintain organisational integrity, and achieve the common goal of providing the best service to the community.
