In order to improve the health status of the community after the disaster, the SHEEP Indonesia Foundation played an active role in initiating, assisting the implementation, and monitoring of family posyandu activities, one of which was held on Wednesday (09/02/22) at the Anggrek Posyandu, Hamlet 1&2, Enu Village, Kec. Sindue, Donggala.
The activities carried out were weighing and measuring height for infants and toddlers, immunization, provision of PMT (supplementary feeding), examination of pregnant women, and examination of the elderly. The enthusiasm of the residents was shown by the presence of 51 toddlers, and 12 pregnant women and the elderly, the number of which was close to the target of 65 people who were expected to attend.
YSI synergizes with cadres, Puskesmas officers, and community members in an effort to improve health and participation in family posyandu activities so that in the future the existence of family posyandu can become a center for family health services at the most basic level so as to create community resilience.
