Saturday (05/02/21) to Sunday (06/02/22) SHEEP Indonesia Foundation for the Lombok Region held a Fair for UMKs in Kayangan District as a form of a follow-up plan (RTL) for the Study of the Impact of Natural Disasters and the Covid-19 Pandemic on Economic Enterprises Productive Community in 6 assisted villages. Organizing activities in collaboration with Mataram University thematic KKN students who have the same program concentration as YSI, namely improving the village economy.
The activity was attended by Youth Organizations, the Kayangan District MSME Forum, Mataram University Community Service Program students, North Lombok Regency Diskoperindag, UMKM actors in Kayangan District (6 YSI assisted villages and 4 villages outside YSI assistance), Kayangan Sub-district Head, and Kayangan District PKK. Some of the superior products of the assisted villages such as Moringa Coffee, various processed chips made from bananas, Moringa and taro, Abon Jackfruit, VCO Oil, Trigona Honey, vegetables from the Women Farmers Group (KWT) are also traded in the bazaar and all products are Food Certified household permit (PIR-T).
The bazaar activity was also filled with talks with members of the DPRD of North Lombok Regency, Zumba Gymnastics with the Kayangan Sub-District Head and members of the community. In one of the interesting remarks from the Kayangan Sub-district Head and the Head of Cooperatives representing the DISKOPERINDAG of North Lombok Regency, it was expressed appreciation and gratitude for holding this activity and further activating the economy by involving business actors in 10 villages in the Kayangan District.
