Tuesday ( 11/23/21) at Palu Golden Hotel, SHEEP Indonesia Foundation (YSI) Central Sulawesi in collaboration with the Department of Family and Community Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta held a workshop on the results of family resilience research after the disaster in Palu, Sigi, and Donggala.
The event ran for 2 (two) days was attended by the Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) of Sulteng Province, Dinkes of Sulteng Province, Dinkes of Palu City,Donggala and Sigi Regency, village officials, Puskesmas and YSI assisted area sub-districts.
The research, which began in August 2021, analyzed and explained data related to family resilience after the disaster in 6 (six) YSI assisted villages and will later become the basis of consideration in building family resilience after disasters, in terms of health and disaster through family posyandu in central Sulawesi, especially Palu, Sigi, and Donggala.
The implementation of the research received appreciation from Dinkes Sulteng through the Head of Public Health and resulted in a draft document of mutual agreement on the commitment and support of the parties to efforts to improve public health status through synergy and collaboration of family posyandu program development with SHEEP Indonesia Foundation.
