Thursday - Friday (16-17/09/21) at Lombonga village hall has been held disaster risk reduction capacity building activities attended by the Village Government (Village Head & apparatus), Lombonga Village Consultative Agency (BPD), disaster alert working group & post disaster management community Lombonga Village, PKK Cadres, Posyandu, and Karang Taruna, as well as local village leaders.
The activities were organized to strengthen understanding of the Code of Ethics of Humanitarian Assistance, Donggala Regency Disaster Management Policy, Village Government Disaster Management Policy to Village Communities, as well as the need to update village disaster data (Disaster Threat, Vulnerability and Capacity).

The increase in the capacity of PRB lombonga village resulted in 3 points of agreement, including:
• Village Government and Lombonga Village Community follow up the training by compiling disaster management policy documents in the form of Perdes on disaster management, Disaster Risk Assessment document, Village Disaster Contingency Plan Document, Perdes on pet order, Perdes on banning tree felling on the beach, and budgeting funds for disaster risk reduction.
• There are disaster risk assessment documents related to disaster materials, evacuation points & evacuation lines, as well as socialization about the construction of Community Evacuation Centers (PEM) and their functions.
• The Village Government apparatus a work program that includes elements of disaster risk reduction.
As a long-term follow-up, there is a mangrove planting plan on the shore of Lombonga Village covering an area of 7 ha that will be carried out by BPBD Prov Sulteng in collaboration with the Lombonga Village Government and Lombonga Village PMPB as one of the disaster risk reduction efforts in Lombonga village.
