My name is Ari Putri Yana, a student of Respati University Yogyakarta International Relations Study Program. I got the opportunity to do internships at SHEEP Indonesia for 2 months and got the opportunity to learn how the world of work in the scope of NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations).
I was given the opportunity to join the information and communication team to learn about the process of creating content and Webinars held by YSI related to the environment and education. I've also learned a lot how to work together in a team that has its own thoughts. The most memorable experience I had experienced was when I participated in field activities or an event organized by YSI in celebration of the closing of the BRC-2 project. At the time of the activity I was able to see how the role of the Indonesian SHEEP Foundation in accompanying the village to be able to utilize a yard land that was used as a place for catfish cultivation and at that time I was given the opportunity to interview the source.Other valuable experiences I can also get acquainted with new people who willingly provide guidance and do not hesitate to share their experiences during my time and do activities at the SHEEP Indonesia Foundation to me.
As a closing of this experience, I hope the SHEEP Indonesia Foundation can develop again by having a wider reach to help other disadvantaged villages and also to continue to run various programs to help Indonesia's development for the better. In addition, I would like to say a lot of thanks to the staff of SHEEP Indonesia Foundation who were happy to receive and guide me during the internship. And also I thank the colleagues who were directly in touch with me who patiently guided and gave directions to me during the internship.Once again thank you Yayasan SHEEP Indonesia for providing an opportunity for me to learn and develop and provide a very memorable experience for me as a student.
