Local food campaigns are still a movement that is continuously carried out in the assisted areas by SHEEP Indonesia Foundation staff. This time the campaign was carried out, one of which was using the 2022 calendar. In this illustrated calendar, efforts to introduce and invite people to love the potential of local food in their area are explained in an interesting way. The calendar shared by YSI is used throughout the year and is always viewed, so the material and content will be viewed and read by the public at any time. The campaign was carried out in 8 Sabu Raijua villages and has been distributed to 450 residents.
From the campaign process that was carried out, it was found that currently the younger generation of Sabu Raijua has started to forget the local food around them, they prefer rice because of the 'used to' factor and fast food instead of consuming local food with the same nutritional content, sometimes even higher, even easier to find at affordable prices.
This explanation for returning to love and consuming local food has received enthusiasm from the community through useful media, namely the calendar, especially using short stories in shabu language which are hoped to be easy to understand.
