Veronica Wuri Lukitasari
After spending five years in the corporate sector, a major decision was made in 2005 to shift professional commitment into the nonprofit sector by joining Yayasan SHEEP Indonesia. This step became a consciously chosen space for self-actualization. There was a strong awareness that accountability, sustainability, and human resource management as a non-financial investment are the core values that have inspired long-term dedication and deep engagement in this field.
Vice Board
Academically, a strong foundation was built through a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, which provided extensive knowledge of financial management and strong analytical skills across various fields. This capability was further strengthened by completing a Master’s Degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management. This unique combination enables a comprehensive perspective in managing nonprofit organizations, ensuring accountable financial governance while optimizing the potential of human talent within the institution.
Professional experience has also strengthened expertise in developing NGO institutional architecture. The track record includes designing human resource management systems, developing career pathway frameworks, conducting organizational capacity assessments, formulating Performance Review systems, and developing a seven-component HR management system specifically tailored for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Experience as a strategic facilitator in developing Operational Work Guidelines (POK) for institutional strengthening across various sectors, developing donor-based PMEP systems (Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning), and facilitating several institutional strategic planning processes has further enriched this expertise and perspective.
Beyond internal managerial functions, there is also a strong interest in public communication and literacy development. Together with the team, involvement has included developing media procedures, optimizing institutional studio functions and digital platforms, and serving directly as an editor for humanitarian publication books. This work is carried out through an adaptive and flexible approach, with a continuous commitment to building an organizational culture that is critical yet supportive, in order to create broad and sustainable social impact.
