Tuesday (8/02/22) and Saturday (12/02/22) for 2 days, training activities were carried out to identify vulnerability as a continuation of vulnerability mapping in the residential area of the Kaili Da'a Indigenous Community in Hamlet 3, Bangga Village, South Dolo District , Sigi Regency. This training was held by YSI with a focus on handling Security Disorders, Order and Disasters as part of its preparedness against the threat of criminal disturbances and various social security risks.
This training is also driven by the identification carried out on the vulnerability of the Kaili Da'a Indigenous community after the relocation where so far several cases have occurred related to the threat of theft, drugs and also the threat of disaster. In this training, the community is strengthened to have the capacity/power in all risky aspects to minimize losses that arise. This knowledge and capacity is expected by YSI to further improve disaster preparedness in a sustainable manner.
On the first day of the training, explanations of theory and SOPs were given for handling criminal disorders at the community level and the use of various information delivery media (via kentongan, loudspeakers and HT). The second day, focused on simulating crime, reporting and handling it as well as mapping the authorities so that coordination of environmental security and monitoring actions goes well.
