CTP program conducted by YSI to improve the economy of Indigenous Peoples post-disaster and currently facing extreme weather and pandemic Covid-19. In addition, because the Covid-19 vaccination rate is very low among the community, this provision is also used to encourage the recipient community to be aware, follow and willing to receive vaccine programs to increase body power in this pandemic period.
This program is carried out between SHEEP Indonesia Foundation in coordination with Bangga Village Midwife and Baluase Health Center. This strategy is quite successful because from only 3%, the Covid-19 vaccination rate increased significantly to 80% after the Covid-19 Vaccine was made a condition to be able to receive food assistance.
In addition to economic recovery and improving public health, the provision of CTP is motivated by the discovery of several cases that are quite significant for Bangga villagers exposed to Covid-19 and extreme weather so that they cannot work on the garden optimally. So in the YSI-REFALINA project carried out the CTP strategy, in 3 stages. The first stage is 100% food; The second stage is 50% food and 50% cash, and the third stage is 100% cash. The three stages of CTP are carried out in a period of 3 months (November 2021 - January 2022).
