Wednesday (07/07/21) SHEEP Indonesia Foundation team conducted an education program on wound care knowledge. Education is carried out together with the Kaili Da'a community, especially children as beneficiaries.
Educational activities are carried out based on the findings that there are some Kaili Da'a people who live in the Tomodo region experiencing wounds on parts of his body that never heal.Existing wounds are only left open and not kept clean, this causes the wound to be easily infected so it takes a long time to heal. Most cases occur because the public does not yet have knowledge about wound care.According to Dewinda (CO YSI) children feel happy because they can treat their own wounds.
YSI sees education about this wound care needs to be provided especially for children and mothers through children's meetings held every Wednesday afternoon.
