Thursday (11/11/21) held a Participatory Study Workshop on the Impact of Natural Disasters and the Covid 19 Pandemic on the productive economic efforts of the people of North Lombok Regency was carried out by the SHEEP Indonesia Foundation together with THINQ consultan tourism partners.
The event was attended by 40 participants from several elements such as UMK, village government in six villages assisted by YSI, Kayangan sub-district government and several related OPDs as well as BUMD scope of North Lombok regency and vice regent of North Lombok represented by assistant one.This activity is a follow-up to participatory studies in six assisted villages facilitated by THINQ Consultan Tourism as a partner in the economic recovery program of earthquake-affected communities and aims to provide an overview of productive economic business conditions in 6 villages assisted by YSI north Lombok regency.
This study workshop produced 2 agreements among them; First, synergy between the local government and YSI to form a unit that is able to accommodate UMKM at the district or cross-village level both formal and informal and second, involving YSI in the preparation of a Joint Action Plan (Division of Roles between YSI, Village, UMK, PEMDA) and the process of increasing the capacity of UMKM
In addition, the results of the study become a reference for local governments; In this case OPD (regional device organization) related in the scope of North Lombok Regency to create the right coaching program for UMKM in order to have a resilient and sustainable business.
