Rapid movement was carried out by YSI staff in Sabu Raijua in order to survey the local potential found in assisted villages.The survey was conducted for 1 week as a baseline data booster conducted to OMB and KWT in the villages of Kotahawu, Ledetalo, Keliha, Jiwuwu, and Matei.
The survey focused on the collection of livelihoods that have high economic potential including cemara beach seaweed farmers center, buffalo farm owned by OMB Wukerohedui and corn farming, green beans and sorghum in kotahawu.
In the survey found the problems felt by residents include the unable to deal with the extreme weather that often afflicts Sabu Raijua and the difficulty of access to clean water and high waves that disrupt the production of seaweed farmers.
