Main duty of the consultation and partnerships commission (CPC) is conduct reinforcing and capacity building of the civil society organization (CSO).
Strengthening Civil Society Organization (CSO)
The priority for empowering CSOs is the human resources and the capacity of organization. The development of human resources was chosen, because human resource development is the core of the CSOs which will ensure the sustainability of the implementation of their activities. Sustainability of CSOs will mostly depend on their human resources. The development of human resources will be carried out through consultation, mentoring, mediation, facilitation, and training for the staffs (activists). The second priority is the improvement of capacity of the organization. This priority is given to make sure that the CSOs will be run through a systematic mechanism, effective, efficient, participative and accountable. The improvement of capacity will be carried out through consultation, facilitation, training and workshop.
Beside human resource development and improving capacity of organization, developing network and strategic alliance are also important for CSOs, because CSOs need to consolidate social movement, strengthen their bargaining position, avoiding conflict of interest among CSOs, and improve their effectiveness, efficiency in implementing program. The development of this network and alliance will be focused to CSOs with similar vision and mission, to speed up the achievement of common goals.
